Here are some common questions about selling on VegaVend
How do fees work on VegaVend?
Joining and starting a store on VegaVend is easy. Creating your company profile is free and will always be free. The “Basic Subscription” also does not cost anything to start, and depending on the subscription you choose, your first 14 days could be a free trial.
During this time you will only be charged:
- Stripe fees, which are 1.5% + £0.20 for domestic cards
- commission – which depends on the subscription you have chosen
After the 14 days, you will be charged the subscription amount, which you can cancel at any time. Then when you sell an item, the Stripe fees and our commission will be deducted and the balance will automatically be paid into the account of your choice. We have no hidden listing fees or costs. We keep everything transparent and clear.
If you choose to take advantage of additional marketing or services, they will be charged separately and upfront so you know what you are paying without any surprises.
What do I need to do to create a shop?
“It’s easy to set up a store on VegaVend. First, create a Vendor account if you don’t already have one. Then, set up your basics with our wizard and start creating your listings. We require that you verify your ID and address, and we also encourage you to verify your social media accounts. This will boost consumer confidence and help grow your social media following.
You should also connect your account to Stripe, which will be the payment method of your choice. Once your account has been verified, we will be able to publish your listings.”
How do I get paid?
“We process payments using Stripe, an external payment platform that enables you to process transactions with a variety of payment methods. The funds from your sales on VegaVend will be deposited into your requested account within seven days.”
Do I need a credit or debit card to create a shop?
“No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a shop. If you sign up for our free Basic plan, you will not be asked for your credit card details because it is completely free. If you choose to sign up for any of our other subscriptions, you will need to use a credit or debit card to set up the account. You will not be charged immediately (depending on the plan you choose) and may link your payment account to a different account if you choose.
What can I sell on VegaVend?
Items sold on Vegavend.com must follow our content policy and guidelines, detailed HERE. VegaVend provides a marketplace for Small to Medium Enterprises to sell their products. Producers or Vendors of items are expected to conduct proper research to ensure that the items created to be sold on Vegavend.com are in compliance with all local, national, and international laws.
