The metal garden gate fits a total post to post GAP as stated in the size selection. Gate frame side shoulder height is 816mm, the overall height is 942mm. We already account for the hinge and latch gaps within the width measurement listed.
The finish is electro galvanised for added rust resistance and powder coated black, the finish must be inspected periodically and any chips touched up.
Note: The galvanising is not a 100% rust proof guarantee. Like any outdoor metal product, it may need to be painted every couple of years to ensure long life. Moving parts will need to be paint touched up on a regular basis.
Fittings included:
- Comes with hinge angle brackets, bolts, wall mounted universal latch.
- (No screws or wall plugs included) Easily fixes to brickwork, metal or timber posts.
- Nuts and bolts must be painted after fitting to prevent the onset of rust.
Optional Blank Metal Posts are available: 50mm square x 1400mm long concrete-in flat top or ball top posts. On-site drilling will be required.

AVAILABILITY, DELIVERY AND RETURNS Free carriage applies to all orders up 4 items, larger quantity orders may incur a surcharge to be quoted at time of order. No minimum order quantity requirement. Unless stated, most gates, fencing and railings are available ex-stock 5-7 working days, UK mainland delivery. If we happen to be out of stock, delivery can be up to 28 working days, you will be informed at time of order. Larger orders or heavy 2-man deliveries can take 7-15 working days delivery. Non Stocked and Made-to-Measure items can take up to 28 working days for UK mainland delivery. There may be a carriage surcharge for outer lying areas, Highlands, NI and Islands, to be quoted at the time of ordering. Builders must only be booked after receipt of the goods. BIC does not offer compensation for your builder costs, should the goods be delivered late or damaged and the builder has to be re-booked.
Refund Policy
Returns must be requested in writing within 30 days of receipt of the goods. The costs of returning unwanted goods are for the buyers account. Upon request, BIC can assist in arranging the return, the cost of which will be deducted from the refund. Goods must be fully wrapped such that no metal is showing and our address clearly displayed. Any out-bound carriage cost is non-refundable. Returned goods must be unused and in a saleable condition.
