The AKIOS AIRSPORT 420 CBR is a two-piece rod designed for casting both large and delicate baits out over long distances, while still providing excellent bite detection. Constructed on a 14ft, high modulus 40-ton carbon blank, it offers impressive yet accessible power, with a solid hybrid tip that detects the shyest of bites and cushions delicate baits during the cast.

After four years of testing and refinements in the hands of anglers across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. The AKIOS AIRSPORT has become a finely tuned, high-performance beach rod with high-quality fittings throughout.

Featuring a Fuji sliding reel seat with protective EVA collars, stunning gun-smoke Fuji KWAG anti-tangle guides, and aluminium-reinforced joint collars with Japanese shrink tubing on either side of the joints to aid separation.

Compatible with both fixed spool and multiplier reels, and either monofilament or braided lines, it accommodates various casting styles, from a simple over-head thump to more advanced techniques like Off-The-Ground or pendulum casts, achieving impressive distances in capable hands.
