The centrifugal braking system offers effective spool control to prevent overruns during the cast when Up-tiding or should you choose to cast from the shore. The precision machined 5.3:1 brass main and multi-disc carbon drag system offers the grunt and control to deal with larger species such as Tope, Smooth Hound, Conger, Bull Huss and rays.
The perfect pairing for the Vertron series of boat rods including the 12 – 20lb, 15 – 25lb and also the 20 – 30lb up-tide / boat combo rod.
