Definitions:
Counterfeit Products
Items that are imitations or replicas of genuine products, made with the intent to deceive customers into believing they are purchasing the authentic item.
Genuine Products
Items that are produced by the brand owner or with the brand owner’s authorisation, and meet all quality standards set by the brand owner.
Vendor Responsibilities:
Authenticity Guarantee
Vendors must ensure that all products listed and sold on VegaVend are genuine and comply with applicable laws and regulations, along with our Anti-Counterfeiting policy.
Documentation
Vendors should maintain and, upon request, provide documentation that verifies the authenticity of their products. This may include purchase invoices, manufacturer certificates, or any other relevant proof of authenticity.
Accurate Descriptions
Product listings must provide accurate and complete information regarding the brand, origin, and condition of the products. Misleading or false descriptions are strictly prohibited.
Compliance with Brand Policies
Vendors must adhere to the brand policies and guidelines of the products they are selling. This includes but is not limited to, trademark usage, product packaging, and marketing materials.
Prohibited Actions:
Sale of Counterfeit Products
The listing or sale of counterfeit products on VegaVend is strictly prohibited.
Misrepresentation
Any attempt to misrepresent the authenticity, origin, or quality of a product is forbidden.
Non-Compliance
Failure to comply with this policy, or any actions that contravene the terms of this policy, may result in immediate suspension or termination of vendor accounts.
Monitoring and Enforcement:
Routine Checks
VegaVend conducts regular audits and checks on product listings to ensure compliance with this policy.
Customer Reports
We encourage customers to report any suspected counterfeit products. All reports will be thoroughly investigated.
Investigations
If a vendor is suspected of selling counterfeit products, VegaVend will initiate an investigation. Vendors must cooperate fully with any such investigation, providing all requested documentation and information.
Penalties
Vendors found to be in violation of this policy may face penalties including, but not limited to, removal of product listings, account suspension, termination, and legal action.

Vendors who suspect another vendor of selling counterfeit products should report their concerns to VegaVend immediately.

Appeals Process:
Right to Appeal
Vendors who believe their products have been wrongly identified as counterfeit may appeal the decision.
Submission of Appeal
Appeals must be submitted in writing, providing detailed reasons and any supporting evidence to appeals@vegavend.com.
Review Process
All appeals will be reviewed by our compliance team, and vendors will be notified of the outcome within 30 days.
